Police raid Kris Jenner’s birthday party over noise complaints; Oprah, Adele among guests

Renowned businesswoman Kris Jenner celebrated her 70th birthday in style at Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ lavish $165 million (Sh21.3 billion) Beverly Hills mansion, but the party got so loud that police were called in.

According to TMZ, the star-studded celebration sparked multiple noise complaints from neighbours as loud music echoed through the surrounding hills.

Officers responded to the scene and spoke with the security team in charge of the event, issuing a warning about the excessive noise.

The outlet reported that the disturbance was caused by a live performance from Grammy-winning artist Bruno Mars, whose energetic set thrilled guests and sent excitement levels soaring.

Jenner later shared her joy on Instagram, writing:

“Magical night celebrating my 70th birthday with beautiful family and friends.”

The glamorous event drew an A-list guest list including Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Adele, Mariah Carey, Chris Rock, Stevie Wonder, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Snoop Dogg, and Mark Zuckerberg, among others.

Police also reportedly removed decorative walls and fake hedges that had been set up along the street, citing a lack of permits. As officers intervened, several high-profile attendees began leaving the venue.

This isn’t the first time Jenner’s birthday has made headlines.

In 2015, she marked her 60th with a $2 million Great Gatsby-themed party, attended by celebrities such as Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, and Kanye West.

For her 70th, Jenner stunned in a red dress with black gloves, while social media buzzed with reactions to the glitzy affair.

“The guest list is immaculate,” one user commented, while another joked, “The number of billionaires I just counted… I need to go to bed, I have work in the morning!”
