A moment of glitz and glamour turned frightening quite quickly during the premier of Wicked: For Good in Singapore when a fanatic fan breached security and and jumped towards and forcefully put his arms around Ariana Grande on the “Yellow-brick-road” carpet, where she was with fellow co-star Cynthia Erivo.
The video that has since gone viral, shows the man in a white shirt, white shorts and white socks without shoes, running over a barricade of security to reach to Ariana and dramatically initiated an unwanted embrace on the Shocked Singer and actress who protested and tried pulling away to no avail.
Her fellow Wicked star, Cynthia was quick to deescalate the situation as she sprung forward to put boundary between Miss Grande and the man, pushing him away, yelling.

The man was swiftly restrained by the security details as Ariana was left vividly shocked and terrified while Cynthia and other co-stars comforted her.
Fans have come out strongly rebuking and criticising the man’s actions terming it as very traumatising and dangerous.
The man who was later identified as Johnson Wen apparently is infamously known online as “Pyjama Man”, a self-proclaimed internet prankster and “stage invader” who has also disrupted other celebrities as well. Wen posted an excerpt of the video in his own verified instagram account and commented, “Thank you Grande for letting me jump on the yellow carpet with you…”
The post has since sparked heated emotions among social media fans and users, condemning him.
Ariana Grande is not his first “victim”, majority of the contents on wen’s social media are several videos of him running on stage at concerts displaying disruptive behavior towards celebrities.
According to NBC News, in June this year, Johnson Wen was arrested after running on stage and grabbing Katy Perry at a concert in Sydney, Australia.
Fans had earlier on called for Mr. Wen’s arrest and possible deportation for being a nuisance.
One Instagram user commented: ”There needs to be action taken against him as this is a clear criminal offence..”
Another user asked”..how is he not in jail?…’’.
It has now emerged that the 26year old self-proclaimed “prankster” was indeed arrested by the Singapore authorities and charged in the court of law.
According to the local media, Mr. Wen intended to plead guilty.
