Huddah Monroe has sent her Instagram followers on a stroll through history.

In a recent post the Kenyan socialite and cosmetics entrepreneur listed a handful of powerful, controversial and iconic men including Muammar Gaddafi, Thomas Sankara, Haile Selassie and Daniel Arap Moi under the cheeky caption: “Men I would have been married to if I was born in their era,” and invited fans to add more names.

Huddah, who rose to fame after a stint on Big Brother Africa now runs her cosmetic line.

She represented Kenya during the eighth season of the show and was the second housemate to be evicted on Day 7 after receiving 2/15 votes from her fellow housemates.

Muammar Gaddafi, Libya’s long-time ruler who dominated Libyan politics from 1969 until his ousting in 2011, was a flamboyant and polarising figure on the world stage.

Thomas Sankara, the charismatic Burkinabé revolutionary president known for his Pan-African rhetoric and social reforms, was assassinated in 1987 and remains an icon for many across the continent.

Haile Selassie, Ethiopia’s emperor from 1930 to 1974, is remembered both for modernising moves and for his complex legacy as a monarch whose rule ended amid revolution, and for his unexpected status as a messianic figure to the Rastafari movement.

Daniel Arap Moi served as Kenya’s president from 1978 to 2002 and remains a towering, contested figure in Kenya’s recent political memory.

Taken together, the quartet is an eye-catching mix: revolutionaries, monarchs and long-serving presidents men who shaped nations, for better or worse.

Huddah’s post didn’t offer a political commentary but rather a flirty, imaginative exercise in historical “what if?”, and that is part of its appeal.

Fans jumped into the replies, suggesting more names and enjoying the light, speculative tone.

One follower though challenged Huddah.

“Question is, would they marry you?” wrote @derrickmwenda_ .

Huddah sarcastically challenged him to go ask them.
