Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Gulfstream G550 private jet has quietly earned more than Sh773 million ($4 million) through charter flights, underscoring how his wealth continues to grow despite his incarceration.

The music mogul may be serving a 50-month prison sentence and facing a Sh96.5 million ($500,000) fine, but his business empire has barely slowed.

Even in his absence, his luxury assets continue to generate eye-watering returns, with his private jet emerging as one of his most profitable holdings.

The jet, a sleek Gulfstream G550 nicknamed LoveAir, is a long-range luxury jet valued at about Sh2.8 billion ($21 million), based on comparisons with listings across multiple aircraft sales sites.

While Combs has been unable to fly on it, the aircraft has reportedly earned over Sh773 million ($4 million) in roughly eight months through high-end charter operations, according to multiple industry reports referenced by The Sun.

The jet is managed by a luxury aircraft rental firm.

While Combs remains in custody, the Gulfstream G550, registered under LoveAir LLC, has quietly been placed on the global charter market.

Sometimes referred to in aviation circles as “Combs Air”, the jet is listed on exclusive private aviation platforms such as Victor and Jettly, where one-way flights can reportedly cost up to Sh19.3 million ($100,000) depending on distance, demand and onboard services.

The aircraft is operated by Silver Air, a luxury charter company, and has completed more than 126 charter trips since Combs’ arrest, a volume industry insiders say comfortably supports the reported Sh773 million ($4 million-plus) revenue figure.

The jet’s performance comes as Combs has also been quietly reshuffling other high-value assets.

He recently listed his Beverly Hills mansion for about Sh7.9 billion ($61.5 million), signalling a strategic repositioning of wealth rather than a financial downturn.

The black, 14-seater Gulfstream G550, built in 2015, is based at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, a major hub for celebrity and executive aviation.

Despite its famous owner, the aircraft is discreetly marketed, meaning many charter clients may be unaware they are flying on Diddy’s jet.

Among the platforms advertising the aircraft is Victor, often described as the “Uber of private jets” and a favourite among Hollywood elites and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Victor CEO Clive Jackson has said the platform serves everyone from business leaders to A-list celebrities, all with high expectations for privacy and comfort.

Listings highlight the jet’s understated luxury, including beige interiors, plush leather seating and a spacious cabin designed for long-haul travel. Silver Air promotes the aircraft as part of its round-the-clock global fleet of luxury jets.

Flying aboard LoveAir reflects its elite status.

A return trip from Los Angeles to New York aboard the G550 is estimated at around Sh22.5 million ($116,681), excluding taxes and fees, while a transatlantic flight from Van Nuys to London’s Biggin Hill Airport can cost approximately Sh83.6 million ($432,708), with a flight time of nearly 10 hours, according to The Sun.

The jet is also advertised on other aviation marketplaces such as Aviapages, further expanding its earning potential.
