Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy has released a new single, “For Everybody”, along with a music video directed by Dave Meyers.
The project features top African athletes, including Victor Wanyama, Benni McCarthy, Asisat Oshoala, Camavinga, Nico and Iñaki Williams, Ighalo, Makelele, Karembeu, Alex Song, and Cheslin Kolbe.
The video blends athletic choreography, fashion, and storytelling inspired by African football and culture.
It highlights themes of resilience, legacy, and collective achievement.
The release coincides with the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2026 Final between Morocco and Senegal.
Burna Boy performed live at the AFCON Last Dance event at the Olm Souissi Fan Zone in Rabat on January 16.
The On The Low hitmaker recently dominated the 9th All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA), held in January 2026, where he took home the prestigious Album of the Year award for his 2025 project, No Sign of Weakness.
He also secured the Best African Collaboration award for the hit song “Laho” (with Shallipopi), further cementing his status as a leading figure in the global Afrobeats movement.
Beyond these wins, he has made history by becoming the first Nigerian artist to earn five career Grammy nominations in album categories.
For the upcoming 68th Grammy Awards in February 2026, he is nominated for Best Global Music Album (No Sign of Weakness) and Best African Music Performance for his single “Love.”
These accolades follow a highly successful 2025, during which he also picked up several honours at The Headies, including Best Live Performer.
