Guda Man is not just a hype man; he is an experience. From the moment he takes over the stage, his undeniable chemistry and energy instantly elevate the audience, injecting life into any event he is trusted to host.

In an industry where crowd connection is everything, he offers the spark that has often been missing, turning ordinary gatherings into unforgettable moments.

Born and raised in a place called Congo, in Kawangware, Guda Man’s journey is a living testament to the power of dreams backed by relentless hustle.

Once a young boy with nothing but ambition and raw talent, he is now living that dream on some of the country’s biggest stages.

“Initially, I was a footballer, but I once got in an accident that affected how I was walking, which really lowered my self-esteem. However, I grew up watching a lot of celebrities and hype me, but since I was good at talking, it was easy for me to learn and adapt,” he says.

Whether at corporate galas, youth-driven festivals, religious gatherings, or secular concerts, Guda Man wastes no time getting down to business, delivering entertainment in its purest, most electric form.

To his fans, he is the ultimate multi-talented entertainer; a musician, dancer, deejay, and hype man rolled into one explosive package.

His effortless charm, paired seamlessly with his vibrant stage presence, makes him a natural crowd commander.

When he fires up an audience with a brief but electrifying introductory performance, the tone for a high-energy show is immediately set. The crowd doesn’t just watch him; they move with him.

Boasting an enviable catalogue of events across the country, he proudly counts himself among the most sought-after hosts in the region. “I have hosted some of the best events in the region,” he says, a feat that has earned him favour among corporate brands, millennials, and youthful audiences alike. His confidence is as loud as his performances.

“I’m like a fire that has been splashed with jet fuel. Once I see a crowd, I go kaboom,” he declares.

His journey into entertainment began years back with the gospel outfit K Krew, where he first learned the ropes of performance and discipline. “I started as a deejay,” he narrates, openly admitting that the learning curve was steep.

“I was slow in learning the skills required to be a showstopper,” he says.

After being left out of several gigs while his peers went on shows, Guda Man was forced to re-evaluate his path.

Rather than quit, he tapped into his other talents. “That’s when I started emceeing and hyping events, and I was soon incorporated,” he reveals.

“Currently, I have a creative dance crew that backs me up whenever I hype the crowd.”

Dance, however, remains closest to his spirit. “For me, when I get masses moving, nothing else matters,” he says. “Dancing is the loftiest, moving form of art. It brings life. It is life itself.”

His accolades have not only won him awards but also opened doors to rare opportunities, including hosting a one-of-a-kind radio show where he seamlessly blends his roles as deejay, host, and hype man.

Yet, the journey has not been without struggle. “I represent the whole of Kawangware, the hood that raised me. But joining the industry and rising to the top was a long, persevering journey.’ From earning peanuts sometimes nothing at all to generating millions, Guda Man remains grounded and grateful.

Perhaps most surprising is that, despite his boundless energy, he does not consume alcohol.

“I’m a teetotaller. My energy is inborn,” he says, noting that even liquor brands he has worked with are often left in awe.

His success, he insists, is built on resilience. “I rang phones, knocked doors, and spent long nights perfecting my art.”

On the future of the industry, the entertainer is optimistic. “It’s great to see more talent coming up, not only male but femcees too,” he says.

“It’s growth. It’s good, healthy, and necessary. I’m super proud of the people whose creative lives I have influenced and ushered into the game. There’s enough cake to host everybody on the table and Kenya’s showbiz, especially with the young generations coming up, led by the GenZs.”

What about the many scandals in the entertainment space?

“You have to stand your ground and be a person driven by value and principles. This should not only apply to lady entrants but everybody who wants to make a difference and last long in the industry,’ he advises. The industry is promiscuous, deceiving and run by cartels, but your good attributes should be your driving force.”

Gudah states that he doesn’t hype in clubs like others do, a decision that sets him apart from the rest.
