Popular Kenyan rapper Toxic Lyrikali was attacked and his car vandalised by a group of people in Kiamaiko, Nairobi.
In a viral video seen by TNX Africa, the ‘Chinje’ hitmaker appears visibly distressed as a rowdy crowd surrounds his white car and begins smashing its windows.
At one point, the ‘Confirmation’ rapper attempts to flee by driving off, but abruptly stops as the chaos continues.
From a nearby apartment, the person recording the incident can be heard questioning the attack.
“Huku ni kubaya, Toxic Lyrikali anagongwa huko. Wanamchapia nini?” he says.
The ordeal appears to last several minutes. In another clip, the rapper, dressed in red trousers and a black T-shirt, is seen seated inside the damaged vehicle as members of the group shout at him.

The incident comes just days after Toxic Lyrikali released a diss track targeting rap group Buruklyn Boyz, escalating an ongoing lyrical feud.
Both sides have recently dropped tracks aimed at each other, intensifying the rivalry.
Earlier this year, the ‘Packe’ singer also made headlines after posting a video of himself confronting fellow rapper Tipsy Gee over alleged online insults.
In the clip, Tipsy Gee appears apologetic as Toxic does most of the talking. Though the exchange is heated, it does not turn physical. The video quickly went viral, drawing thousands of views within hours.
Following the Kiamaiko attack, Kenyans flooded social media with mixed reactions.
One user, Mawidi, wrote on X, “Why attack him. I thought it was supposed to be lyrical beef.”
Another, Mwaniki Rian, added, “Lyrikali ingia tu exile msee …. Hizi street ziko na wenyewe.”
Responding to the incident, the ‘Packe’ hitmaker claimed the group was armed.
“Kiamaiko, nagotea machaji. Wanakuja wamejipin na marungu na madagger. Mambo ya dunia, kwani umesalitiwa na machaji wangapi,” he said, alleging that some of the attackers carried daggers and clubs.
