“Stop playing victim!” Jemutai rubbishes Hamo’s claims of infidelity ruining his career

Comedienne Jemutai has hit back at her fellow comedian and baby daddy, Professor Hamo, after he claimed that cheating with her led to his financial troubles.

In a clip that has since gone viral, Jemutai accused Hamo of repeatedly revisiting their past for content, urging him to stop portraying himself as the aggrieved party.

“Stop playing the victim, Hammo. Why are you giving other people content for free? Exploiting your story only for you to go back home empty-handed?” she said.

She questioned why he continues to reference their children while discussing the scandal publicly.

“Whether tulipanga ama hatukupanga, hawa watoto wako hapa na wanatutegemea. Ni nini hizo unasema sazote for clicks and likes? Ni fame gani hiyo unatafuta?” Jemutai reiterated.

Positioning herself as a younger colleague offering advice, she added, “Let me advise you as your small sister because you are 8 years older than me. Hammo sai watu wametoka analogue wako digital, you are still stuck kwa enzi za Churchill Show, na iliisha 2020.”

Despite the sharp criticism, Jemutai acknowledged Hamo’s talent as a stand-up comedian and musician, challenging him to create his own platform instead of revisiting past mistakes on other people’s shows.

Jemutai also dismissed Hamo’s claims that his bad luck stemmed from his involvement with her.

“Hammo hata wewe deep down in your soul unajua vizuri sana sio ukweli. Mimi hata sikukula pesa zako. Our God is full of grace and mercy na hawezi kuwa anakupunish bado for five years, lazima ikuwe kuna kitu ingine ulifanya, sio sisi. Do your own shows ata mara ngapi hata umepost kwa social media to showcase your comedy, uone kama hautapata deals?”

Her response comes just hours after Hamo publicly warned men against cheating, saying infidelity costs him money, endorsements and career opportunities.

The two comedians previously made headlines after their affair, which resulted in two children, triggered public drama and affected Hamo’s brand and radio career.
