Gospel singer Size 8 shared a harrowing account of how her husband DJ Mo, survived a violent panga attack.

The incident occurred near Kenol, where thieves reportedly ambushed the DJ, stealing his phone and inflicting injuries that required immediate medical attention.

In an Instagram post, Size 8 thanked God for safeguarding her husband’s life.

“The devil is a liar! Our God reigns supreme! Jesus Christ is Lord! Dear God, thank you for life. Today I post to give God glory for safe guarding my husband’s life @djmokenya… Akiwa pande za Kenol, thieves attacked him with a panga, took his phone, but he is alive…” she posted

The post included a video showing DJ Mo in hospital, receiving stitches for the injuries he sustained during the attack.

Size 8 also expressed gratitude to friends and rescuers who helped during the ordeal for their swift intervention.

DJ Mo himself responded on social media, reassuring fans that he was recovering. “Thank you fam… I am better, but siku yao itafika soon,” he wrote, hinting at accountability for the assailants.

This comes hours after Size 8 took her fans on a tour of a home she and her husband, DJ Mo, are currently building.

Sharing the update on Instagram, she expressed gratitude to God for guiding their journey and celebrated the progress made on their new residence.

 “Here is a snippet of our new house that we are building,” she wrote, tagging the interior designer responsible for an outstanding job.

Accompanying the tour, Size 8 reflected on the challenges of building a home and the importance of faith. “This can only be the doing of the lord… We are grateful to God for how far He has brought us, the Murayas. If you are in construction, the road is not easy, but God is with us. Never give up on God, let’s keep on moving,” she wrote.
