Afro-pop sensation Jovial is officially taking her “captivating voice” to the global stage. In a move that hashas been lauded by industry pundits, the ‘Such Kinda Love’ hitmaker has officially joined the ONErpm family.

The announcement, shared via a sleek social media reveal, marks a significant milestone for the Mombasa-born singer, whose real name is Juliet Miriam Ayub. Known for her soulful Swahili lyrics and a string of chart-topping collaborations with the likes of Otile Brown, Arrow Bwoy, and Mejja, Jovial is now positioned for a massive international push.

ONErpm, a leading global music distribution and label services company, welcomed the singer with high praise:

“Jovial is a Kenyan singer and songwriter who has established herself as one of East Africa’s most captivating Afro-pop voices… We’re excited to welcome Jovial to the ONErpm family as we embark on this new journey together.”

The partnership is expected to give Jovial access to ONErpm’s massive global infrastructure, which includes over 43 offices worldwide and a network that generates billions of streams monthly. For fans, this likely means more frequent releases, higher production quality, and the potential for international collaborations that could see her “Afro-fusion with a twist of Zouk” reach new markets in West Africa, Europe, and the Americas.

Jovial has long been considered one of Kenya’s most consistent hitmakers. Since her breakout with ‘Chanda Chema’, she has dominated the airwaves, yet she has remained one of the few top-tier artists without a full-length studio album.

With ONErpm’s backing—a company known for supporting artists like Vybz Kartel and Cochise speculation is already mounting that an album or a major EP is finally on the horizon.

This signing comes at a time when Kenyan music is experiencing a resurgence on the global digital charts. By aligning with a “forward-thinking, modern music company” like ONErpm, Jovial is clearly aiming to transition from a regional queen to a global icon.
