Akothee has announced her upcoming exit from the country, marking the transition with a deeply personal message and a major public event set for April 11, 2026, in Nairobi.
In a post shared on her social media platforms, she reflected on her journey, saying, “I have lived loudly, loved deeply, made mistakes, risen again, and built something that cannot be erased,” she wrote, signalling both closure and transformation as she prepares to relocate abroad to join her family.
As part of this transition, Akothee will host the “Turn Your Pain Into Purpose Experience” event at the Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi.
The event will serve multiple milestones, including the official launch of her new book “Turn Your Pain Into Purpose,” alongside her birthday celebration and a farewell party with fans.
The book, which she describes as a “message, movement, and testimony,” is rooted in one of the most challenging periods of her life.
According to Akothee, the experience “broke, humbled, and rebuilt” her, shaping the woman she is today.
The publication carries themes of healing, self-determination, and personal empowerment—values she has consistently championed throughout her career.
In her message, she encouraged her followers to take control of their own narratives. “Be the main actor. Be the director,” she wrote, emphasising individuality and self-belief in navigating life’s uncertainties.
While her departure marks the end of a chapter physically, Akothee assured fans that her presence and influence will remain. “I may be leaving physically, but I will never truly leave you,” she said.
“Come… get your copy. Come… give me a hug. Come… celebrate me. And let us say goodbye , not in tears alone, but in strength, in love, and in purpose,” she posted
