The 2026 Shabach Praise Encounter is here, as thousands of believers are set to congregate at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) for the highly anticipated religious intervention.
This powerhouse gospel event kicks off today, promising an unforgettable flood of worship, praise, and divine encounters led by renowned Nigerian worship sensation Ada Ehi.
Organised by Shabach Ministries International, the one-day extravaganza is finally to commence amid a presser held on Friday in preparation for the spiritual nourishment.
Accompanying Ms. Ehi at the presser, was Pastor Martin Mwirigi of the Grace Chapel, who noted the rapid growing christian community and assured the faithful of pure and genuine spiritual reckoning,
“There is no greater joy than coming together and giving God’s name praise”, the zealous pastor noted. “Psalms 63:3-7 clearly echoes what will happen on Saturday during the rich spiritual nourishment, our lips shall praise the almighty”.
The international minister and ‘congratulations’ hit song gospel singer, Ms. Ehi, was equally excited to headline the praise experience, “Expect the spirit of the lord to come down and uplift all of us, this is a calling it is bigger than us, God wants his children to worship him, wholeheartedly”, the 42-year old Minister reiterated.
Mrs Ehi, whose soul-stirring vocals and prophetic songs have blessed millions globally, is known for hits like “Konko Below”, “I Testify,” and “Only Jesus”, as her music often blends Afro-gospel rhythms and lyrics deep with profound scriptural meanings.
Past editions have equally drawn thousands of believers, igniting transformations through high-octane worship and life-changing gospel messages and testimonies.
The term “Shabach” is derived from the Hebrew dialect (שָׁבַח), primarily meaning to address in a loud tone, shout, commend, or glorify and is often referred to as “raising a holy roar”. This insinuates a loud, triumphant shout of praise, distinct from quiet worship, that declares God’s power.
The term is actually one of seven Hebrew words for praise.
