Former Migos rapper Offset is recovering after being shot in what authorities describe as a contained incident outside a popular casino in Florida.
According to reports confirmed to TMZ, the rapper was injured Monday evening near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The shooting reportedly occurred at the valet area shortly after 7 p.m.
Police responding to the scene said the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was quickly transported to Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment.
In a statement, Seminole Police confirmed they were immediately on site and swiftly contained the situation. Two individuals have since been detained as investigations continue. Authorities also assured the public that the area is secure and that normal operations at the casino resumed shortly after the incident.

Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, rose to fame as part of the Atlanta-based hip-hop trio Migos, alongside Quavo and the late Takeoff. Following news of the shooting, Quavo shared a prayer emoji on social media, sparking concern among fans.
Unverified claims circulating online suggest the shooting may have followed an altercation involving rapper Lil Tjay.
A video posted by influencer Ceddy Nash alleges that Lil Tjay shot Offset after a confrontation. However, these claims remain speculative and have not been confirmed by law enforcement.
Former wrestler Ric Flair posted on his socials prayers for the rapper.
“Prayers for Offset! Stay Strong! Thank you so much for all you have done in my career,” he shared.
Producer and content creator Akademiks revealed online that he had spoken with Lil Tjay team who confirmed that he was not shot but is currently in custody related to the incident.
