The Bronx rap sensation Isis Naija Gaston, popularly known as Ice Spice, was attacked by a rogue fan at a local food joint.
The 26-year-old “Deli” hitmaker, known for chaotic lyrics and rival disses, appeared to experience a real-life escalation of fan interaction when an encounter turned into punches, a chase, and viral drama.
According to TMZ, Ice Spice was seated in a booth with a friend when a woman approached and leaned in close.
The rapper appeared uninterested and repeatedly pointed toward the door, signalling she wanted the interaction to end. The woman allegedly did not step back and instead struck first, slapping Ice Spice.
A man believed to be with the woman, who was carrying a Buzzball Biggie drink, stepped in and pulled her away.
Ice Spice immediately fought back, jumping onto a table before chasing them outside with her fists clenched. In the commotion, she spotted a dropped phone, picked it up, threw it into the street, and gestured toward her attacker.
The confrontation continued outside as friends tried to calm the situation, saying the woman was drunk and urging Ice Spice to “relax.” The rapper responded, “Why would I relax when she’s touching me?”
According to People, the incident is expected to proceed to court. Ice Spice’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, confirmed the assault was reported to the LAPD, with possible criminal charges and civil action being considered, including claims against McDonald’s for alleged lax security.
The other woman later responded via TMZ video, claiming she only complimented Ice Spice and her friend, and alleged she was called a “bitch” first, which she says prompted her to slap the rapper.
