British-Nigerian digital creator and businessman Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo, also known online as Denisi or Ego, has died aged 43 following complications from a manhood enlargement procedure in Thailand.
According to coroner records obtained by E News, Ubiribo underwent the procedure using injections containing hyaluronic acid and lidocaine.
While both substances are commonly used in cosmetic and medical procedures, such treatments can carry serious risks, including infection, tissue damage and complications if the substances enter the bloodstream.
Shortly after the procedure, Ubiribo reportedly developed sharp chest pain before collapsing and losing consciousness.
Emergency responders rushed him to a nearby hospital, where medical staff performed CPR for more than 100 minutes in an attempt to revive him. Despite the prolonged efforts, doctors were unable to restore his heartbeat and declared him dead.
A post-mortem examination later found that Ubiribo died from a massive pulmonary embolism, a potentially fatal blockage of blood vessels in the lungs.
Coroners determined that the blood clot was caused by complications arising from the cosmetic procedure.
Ubiribo was known for documenting his travels, food and high-end lifestyle on social media. His trip to Thailand with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, ended in tragedy following the procedure.
His death prompted an outpouring of tributes from friends, family and followers on social media.
According to Complex, his loved ones later gathered in London for a funeral service to honour his life. He was buried in a gold coffin reportedly worth $745,000 (Sh.96,510,578).
Ubiribo’s death has also renewed discussion around the potential health risks associated with cosmetic enhancement procedures, particularly those performed abroad.
