The Tanzanian music star, is set to headline the exclusive “Bongo X RnB” concert at The Bar Next Door (BND) on Kiambu Road.
Doors open at 1:00 PM for a daytime show featuring a live set by Ali Kiba, with music before and between performances curated by Kenyan DJs DJ Lisney and DJ Kym NickDee.
The concert comes on the back of the huge success of Finale, Ali Kiba’s collaboration with Kenyan Afro‑pop star Bien.
The song was released on 25 March 2026 and quickly became one of East Africa’s biggest hits of the year.
Within the first month, the official video passed 20 million views on YouTube, setting a regional record for a Kenyan‑led release.
By August 2026, Finale had grown to more than 49 million views, making it the most‑viewed new African music video of 2026 so far.
The track has dominated radio stations and streaming platforms across Kenya, Tanzania, and the wider region, and it helped strengthen the musical link between the two countries.
Following this momentum, Ali Kiba has been releasing more singles in 2026, including Utanionea with Harmonize and Bhuju with Mbosso.
He has said that 2026 is a “singles year” for him, meaning he is focusing on dropping one song after another instead of a full album.
According to interviews, he had planned to release an album this year, but he decided to push it to 2027 so he can keep giving fans fresh singles now.
He explained his plan simply: “It’s going to be single, single, single until 2027. Then I will release the album.”
For fans in Nairobi, tonight’s show is a rare chance to hear Ali Kiba perform live in an intimate club setting, just months after Finale broke records and made him even more popular in Kenya.
