Kwetu Nairobi, Curio Collection by Hilton has been named among the top one per cent of properties globally in Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best for 2026.
The Nairobi hotel was recognised in the annual awards, which are based on reviews and ratings submitted by travellers who have visited properties listed on the platform over a 12-month period.
The Best of the Best category is the highest level of Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards and recognises properties that rank among the highest-rated listings on the travel platform.
The recognition places Kwetu Nairobi among hotels that received consistently strong feedback from Tripadvisor users during the review period.
Alexandre Glauser, the hotel’s general manager, said the award reflected the experiences shared by guests.
“Being named among Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best 2026 is incredibly meaningful to us because it reflects the experiences and voices of the people who matter most: our guests,” he said.
The award comes as Nairobi continues to attract visitors for business, tourism and regional travel, with hotels competing for travellers’ attention through service, location and guest experience.
Tripadvisor’s Chief Communications Officer Laurel Greatrix said the award was based on feedback from travellers who chose to review their experiences on the platform.
“Earning a place among the top percentage of listings globally is no small feat,” Greatrix said.
She added that the awards are intended to help travellers identify highly rated destinations and experiences when planning trips.
