DJ Bonez has strongly denied speculation that his marriage to media personality Kamene Goro has hit the rocks, insisting that they are still together despite growing breakup rumours.
Speaking during a quick-fire interview with content creator Grace Yuge, Bonez declared his commitment to Kamene, saying he had no interest in dating other women.
“I am married, and I love my wife so much; my marriage is six years,” he said.
The DJ acknowledged that marriage was not always easy but maintained that he remained committed to his union.
“Marriage is not easy, and you have to believe in yourself,” he added, offering advice to couples navigating challenges in their relationships.
Bonez also appeared unfazed by attention from women, insisting that he was unavailable.
“Women love me so much, but I am taken,” he said.
His remarks came a day after Kamene sparked speculation with an Instagram Story in which she appeared to hint at spending time alone.
“Woke up like this…alone…again,” she wrote, accompanying the post with Bien’s song ‘I’ll Be Okay’.
The post fuelled online discussion, with some interpreting it as a possible sign of trouble in her marriage.
Kamene later pushed back against the assumptions, clarifying that waking up alone did not mean she was single or unhappy.
“Just because I woke up alone doesn’t mean I’m single. I’m not!!! Also just because I woke up alone doesn’t mean I’m sad or lonely,” she wrote.
She also cautioned social media users against making assumptions about her private life.
“Finally, don’t make assumptions about me; you will mislead yourself terribly,” she added.
The exchange has renewed attention on the couple’s relationship, which has attracted public interest since they began dating and later married.
In January, Kamene marked their sixth anniversary with a heartfelt tribute, acknowledging the challenges they had faced while expressing hope for their future together.
“Only we know the depth and struggle of our journey and why we still keep at it,” she wrote, adding, “Hatuwachani, mtangoja!”
Bonez also responded to the anniversary message with a declaration of love for his wife.
Neither has announced a separation, with Bonez maintaining that they are still married and Kamene rejecting claims that she is single. The circumstances behind the renewed speculation remain unclear.
