MPs pile pressure on ministry over junior school teachers’ career paths

MPs want the government to provide a clear career progression framework for junior school teachers to avoid conflict with their counterparts in the primary section.

The lawmakers expressed concern that the two sets of teachers currently serve in the same compound with those from the primary section despite the high academic qualifications possessed by those teaching in junior schools.
