Brenda claims Stevo Simple Boy knew Dragon Junior was not his biological son [Photo/Courtesy]
Brenda, the former partner of Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy, has claimed that the musician knew long before their recent DNA test that he was not the biological father of their son, Dragon Junior.
Speaking during a phone conversation with content creator 2Mbili on Tuesday, October 20, Brenda denied misleading Stevo, insisting that she had disclosed the paternity concerns to him privately.
She claimed they had agreed to continue raising the child together despite the circumstances, with the arrangement also helping them make money through content creation.
“Na Stevo nilikuwa nimeshamwambia kitambo. Wacha ukimuliza sasa hivi umulize Stevo, ‘Brenda aliwahi kuambia mtoto si wako?’ Atakuambia,” she said.
Brenda challenged 2Mbili to ask Stevo directly whether she had previously told him that he was not the child’s biological father.
She maintained that the issue was not new to the rapper and suggested that the recent DNA results had brought a previously discussed matter into the public spotlight.
Her remarks came shortly after Stevo announced the end of their relationship following DNA test results indicating that he was not Dragon Junior’s biological father.
In a statement shared on Tuesday, the musician said the findings had been difficult to process but that he had chosen to handle the situation with dignity and respect for everyone involved.
“Following the DNA test results, I wish to officially announce that Brenda and I are no longer together as a couple,” he stated.
Brenda also recounted what she alleged happened when the DNA results were brought to their home.
She claimed that a man identified as Oscar arrived with the documents, after which tensions escalated and she was ordered to leave the house.
“Sasa leo venye Oscar wakakuja hivyo na hiyo karatasi ya results, akaanza kunipiga, kunirushia vitu nje, kuniambia niende, nitoke kwa hiyo nyumba niende,” she said.
The allegations of assault and being forced out of the house have not been independently verified. Stevo had not publicly responded to the specific claims at the time of reporting.
The paternity dispute has attracted widespread attention online, with fans weighing in on the couple’s separation and Brenda’s assertion that the rapper already knew about the child’s paternity.
Stevo has since asked the public to respect his privacy as he navigates the situation, saying he intends to focus on his music career and building a better future.
