Media personality Oga Obina, real name, Steve Thompson Magana has emerged victorious in a defamation lawsuit against Radio Africa Group and social media influencer Maureen Imbayi, alias Black Cinderella. The Milimani Commercial Magistrates’ Court ruled in Obina’s favour, finding that the defendants had published false and damaging statements that injured his professional reputation and brand. The court determined that the defamatory remarks had caused significant harm, awarding the popular comedian and broadcaster a total of KSh 6 million in damages.
