He said this year’s Tannahill Shield will not just be a golf tournament but a celebration of history, tradition, and sportsmanship.

“As we embark on the next century of this iconic event we anticipate growth, continued excellence, and unforgettable moments on the course as we are set to witness fierce competition among Kenya’s top golf clubs, with each team demonstrating remarkable skill and resilience across four intense rounds,” Mastamet said.

Team Mombasa manager Eric Nyongesa said that Mombasa Club has this year, with the generous sponsorship by NCBA, been able to present formidable teams in the Centenary Tannahill Golf Tournament in the Junior, Senior and Main categories.

This year the club has fielded the most experienced and talented golfers in all categories under the overall stewardship of a Team Manager and a veteran golfer.
